Quick Quinyx Knowledge Base demo

Welcome to the Quinyx Knowledge Base, the new home for all Quinyx product documentation. It's open to everyone, with no login needed. This article shows you how to find your way around, so you can get answers quickly: where to start, how to find articles, and how to get help from Eddy AI.

Homepage

The homepage is your starting point. From here you can search, browse by topic, or ask Eddy AI.

  • Search. Type in the search bar, or press Ctrl + K from any page.

  • Documentation. Select Documentation to open the full list of articles.

  • Browse by topic. Select a topic card to see all articles for that part of Quinyx, for example Web app, Mobile App or Employee Hub. To see what's new, select News and release notes. To find out how super users contact Quinyx Support, select Need help?

Header

The header is at the top of every page, so these options are always one click away.

  • Developers. Technical documentation for teams who build integrations with Quinyx.

  • Glossary. Definitions of Quinyx terms. Use it when you're new to Quinyx or find a term you don't recognise.

  • Log in to Quinyx. Go straight to Quinyx to try what you just read about.

  • Announcements (megaphone icon). The latest news from the Quinyx Knowledge Base.

  • Light or dark mode (sun icon). Switch to the view that's easiest on your eyes.

  • Language. Read articles in English, German, Dutch or Swedish.

  • Login to Quinyx Academy. If you’re an onboarding customer going through training, you can go to your Quinyx training courses. Quinyx Academy needs a separate login.

The left navigation pane, under Explore articles, shows how the Knowledge Base is organised.

  • Select a category to expand it and see its articles. The article you're reading is highlighted.

  • The breadcrumb above the pane shows where you are, for example Documentation > Using the Knowledge Base. Select any part of it to go back a level.

  • Select the filter icon to narrow down the list.

  • Select the arrow at the edge of the pane to hide it and get more space for reading.

  • A colored dot next to a category means it has new or updated articles.

Article tools

Each article shows when it was last updated and how long it takes to read. Below the title you can:

  • Article summary. Get the key points before you read the full article.

  • Listen. Have the article read aloud.

  • Focus. Hide everything except the article, so you can read without distractions.

  • Follow. Get notified when the article is updated.

  • Share or download the article, for example to send to a colleague.

Tags & Table of contents

Tags are at the top of the right pane. They group articles on the same subject. Select a tag to see all articles that have it. For example, Schedule view is tagged Employee Management, Schedule View and Shift Configuration.

In the article below, you can see the table of contents. It's created automatically from the article's headings. Select a heading to jump straight to that section. Select the arrow next to a heading to show its subsections.

Eddy AI is the AI assistant built into the Quinyx Knowledge Base. To open it, select the Eddy AI icon in the bottom-right corner of any page. Ask it a question in your own words, and it answers using the articles in the Knowledge Base. Each answer links to the articles it's based on, so you can read the full details.

Search or Eddy AI?

  • Use search when you know what you're looking for, such as an article title. Titles from HelpDocs haven't changed.

  • Use Eddy AI when you have a question, for example "How do I approve a shift swap?"

For tips on asking good questions, see How to get good answers from Eddy AI.
