The new Quinyx Knowledge Base is coming soon, and we’ll post a link to it in the near future.
Coming soon, Quinyx HelpDocs moves to the Quinyx Knowledge Base, with a new address coming soon! It's open to everyone, you don't need to sign in, and it's where we publish every new and updated article from now on.
This article explains what's changed, the three ways to find an answer, and the tools you'll find on every article.
What’s changed from Quinyx HelpDocs
The name and address are new. Quinyx HelpDocs is now the Quinyx Knowledge Base. It will move from https://quinyx.helpdocs.io.
Quinyx HelpDocs stays online until 1 January 2027, but we no longer update it. Once we’re live, we’ll only publish new and updated articles here. If an article looks different on the two sites, trust this one.
Update your bookmarks and links before November 2026. This includes links in your runbooks, intranet pages, and training material. Search them for "helpdocs.io" and replace what you find.
The HelpDocs articles came with us. We moved the content across and grouped related topics together.
What is Eddy AI
Eddy AI is the AI assistant built into the Quinyx Knowledge Base. Ask it a question in your own words, and it answers using the articles in the Knowledge Base. Each answer links to the articles it's based on, so you can read the full details.
You can use Eddy AI in two places:
The search bar, to find articles and get an answer to your question.
The Eddy AI panel, to ask about the article you're reading or about anything in the Knowledge Base.
Eddy AI only answers from published Knowledge Base articles. It can't see your Quinyx account or make changes in Quinyx. For questions about your own setup, contact your Quinyx superuser.
Tip: Eddy AI gives better answers to specific questions. For example, ask "How do I approve a shift swap in the mobile app?" rather than "shift swaps". For more tips, see How to get good answers from Eddy AI.
What’s new
What you want to do | What to use |
|---|---|
Find an answer to a question | The search bar or the Eddy AI panel |
Get help with the article you're reading | The Page help tab in the Eddy AI panel |
Listen to an article instead of reading it | Listen |
Read without distractions | Focus |
Hear when an article changes | On the Knowledge Base homepage you can see recently modified articles, recently created articles, and most viewed articles. |
Use an article with your own AI tools | Copy page, Open in ChatGPT, or Open in Claude |
Read in your own language | The language selector: English, Dutch, German, or Swedish |
Three ways to find an answer

The search bar. Click the search bar at the top of any page, or press Ctrl + K. Type keywords or a full question. Eddy AI finds the articles that match and can answer your question.
The Eddy AI panel. Click the lightbulb button in the bottom-right corner of the page. The panel has two tabs:
Page help, for questions about the article you're reading.
Knowledge base, for questions about anything in the Knowledge Base.
The panel also shows Popular searches, the topics other customers look for most.
The menu on the left. Articles are grouped by area, such as Web app, Mobile apps, Webpunch, and Employee Hub. Expand a category to see its articles, or type in Filter by name to find a category or article by its title.
Which one to use depends on your question:
You know what you need, for example how to apply for a shift in the mobile app: use the search bar.
You have a question about the article you're reading: use Page help in the Eddy AI panel.
You're learning a new area: browse the menu and work through the category.
For tips on asking good questions, see How to get good answers from Eddy AI.
Tools on every article
Tool | Where to find it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Read time | Below the article title | Shows approximately how long the article takes to read |
Focus | Below the article title | Hides the navigation so you can concentrate on the article |
Listen | Below the article title | Reads the article aloud |
Share | Toolbar above the article | Shares a link to the article via email |
Export PDF | Toolbar above the article | Downloads the article as a PDF |
Print, Copy page, View as Markdown, Open in ChatGPT, Open in Claude | Three-dot menu in the toolbar | Use an article with your own AI tools |
Dark mode | Moon icon at the top of the page | Switches between light and dark mode |
Language | Language selector at the top of the page | Switches between English, Dutch, German, and Swedish |
Use an article with your own AI tools
The three-dot menu above each article has options for using the article with other tools:
Copy page copies the article as Markdown, a plain text format that AI tools read easily.
View as Markdown shows the article as plain text.
Open in ChatGPT and Open in Claude open the article in that AI tool, so you can ask questions about it there.
These options are useful if you build internal guides or training material, or if you already use an AI assistant at work.
Keep your data safe: Knowledge Base articles are public, so it's fine to share them with an AI tool. Don't paste employee names, schedules, or other information from your Quinyx account into a third-party AI tool unless your company allows it.
The Knowledge Base and Quinyx Academy
Quinyx has two places to learn. They have different purposes.
Quinyx Knowledge Base | Quinyx Academy | |
|---|---|---|
What it's for | Explains how features work and how to set them up | Paid training for customers in onboarding |
Who can use it | Everyone | Customers enrolled in training |
Sign-in | Not needed | Required |
Where to find it | www.quinyx.document360.io | Quinyx Academy in the Knowledge Base menu if you’ve been granted access |

Give feedback on an article
At the bottom of each article, tell us whether the article helped you. If it didn't, add a sentence about what was missing. Your feedback helps us decide which articles to improve first.
