Roles and Access Rights
Role management and access rights allow you to configure what your staff sees and does in Neo. You can define roles, levels, and permissions.
You can:
Add/delete levels
Change level on roles
Add/edit/delete roles
Define permissions on feature groups for each role
Distribute roles under Organization

Organization
Using the company's organizational structure usually provides a good basis when setting up your configuration. However, it is not unusual that you will need to make some small changes to achieve the different permission levels in Quinyx that you want to have.
You can:
Add or remove members from a group
Give access to various group levels
Set end dates for temporary roles

People
Use the People tab to administer your staff members.
You can:
View/add/edit/delete employee information
Add/edit/delete agreement templates and employment rate
Share employees to other units
Enable devices for mobile punching (under the Group Settings menu)

Base Schedule
In Neo, you can use Base schedules to create a rolling schedule that follows the same pattern over a longer period of time. The 3 steps involved are Create, Roll out (activate) and Publish (make visible to staff).
You can:
Add/edit/delete base (rolling) schedule
Move/copy/delete employee shifts
View schedule statistics and variables for optimal staffing
Roll out the schedule and handle warnings

Roll Out
When you are happy with your base schedule, it's time to roll it out (activate it) so that the shifts appear in the schedule. To roll out, go to "Base Schedule" and click the"Roll out" in the top right-hand corner. This will bring out a side panel. In this side panel, you're able to select a from and to date to which the Base schedule should be applied.
You can:
Roll out your base schedule and handle warnings
Continue rotation from a previous rollout
Roll out a base schedule over an absence

Daily Schedule Management
Select the Schedule tab to manage the schedule. This view provides comprehensive information about the schedule.
You can:
View unassigned shifts and scheduled employees
View scheduled hours vs. contracted hours
Look at employee KPIs and time tracker balances
Add/copy/move shifts
View shifts and associated punches, notices of interest, and leave request
View schedule statistics and variables for optimal staffing
Publish the schedule to make it visible to the staff
Approve leave requests, add absences and attest worked hours

Absence Management
You can manage absences a few different ways in Neo.
You can:
View view/approve leave applications in the schedule or the shift notification center
Manually add absences
View Time tracker balances
Choose absence schedule
Delete/unassign/reassign underlying shifts in the period

Punches and Attest
All worked hours need to be attested (approved) in Neo. The process may vary, but all punches must be approved before they will be included in a salary file.
You can:
View/edit/add/delete punches
See salary types associated with a shift
Change cost center and agreement information
Change overtime outcome
Split punches and correct breaks
Attest punches

Select the Time tab to generate and manage payroll files.
You can:
See which items are and are not ready to transfer to payroll
Create a preliminary payroll file
Create a definitive payroll file
Create a Salary details report
Soft lock a schedule

Quinyx mobile introduction
You can use the Quinyx mobile app for workforce management. With the Quinyx app, you can:
View and apply for shifts and submit Notices of Interest
Punch in and out and attest worked hours
Apply for time off and view Time Trackers
View colleagues and their contact information
If you’re a manager, you can manage employee’s leave and shift applications

Mobile Access Rights
Mobile access rights can be found under account settings and allows you to configure what your staff can do in the Quinyx mobile app.
You can:
Review and modify access rights settings and permissions copied from Classic to Neo.
Set mobile access rights for each staff category.
Set mobile permissions for different functional areas of the mobile app.
