When Generate overtime on absence day settings on the Absence settings page is checked, the following logic for OT on absence days will be applied: If overtime falls on an absence day, Quinyx will generate minus transactions for ordinary salaries to compensate hours of generated OT salary. Here are some examples:
Case 1 - When working one week when scheduled overtime
Given: The employee is 100% employed hourly, the overtime method is period, the period is 7 days, the hours for full-time is 40 per 7 days (5 working days).
When: The employee is scheduled 41 hours for that week, and the employee punches 41 hours.
Then: The salary types generated for the employee are 40 hourly salary and 1 hour OT.
